I havent seen or heard much about the obvious connection between hunting/fishing and the local foods movement. However, yesterday, I saw this article on NPR that ties the local food movement to changes in perception toward hunting wild game....the article includes some yummy-looking recipes (though fancy for those of us who grew up in a hunting family/culture:) Interesting to note that, according to the article, many people in the U.S. approve of hunting, but few people actually hunt. I think there are some interesting social-cultural issues tied to these changing perceptions...
