What do you hope to achieve by joining IthaCan?
I hope to learn from other members and share with them what I know. I also want to meet other folks who like to ferment things in their kitchens :-). I have the least experience in meat preservation ,and would love to learn more a about relevant techniques.
Do you have any expertise or resources that you can offer to the IthaCan community?
I coordinate the Fingerlakes Fruit Bowl, a small fruit CSA associated with the Full Plate Farm Collective. I am often able to wholesale fruit in the summer.
What is your favorite home-preserved food?
Raspberry jam, quince paste, dilly beans, and ginger-garlic watermelon radishes (you wanted just one?)

we are about 2 mile south on the left.
we have a mini fridge at the end of our driveway for eggs etc. and a multi colored van.
if you pass miller you have gone to far.
