Edible Forest Gardens in Tompkins County

Hello Folks:I would like to find out whether there are edible forest gardens in Tompkins County that we could organize trips to. I got the idea from the Agroforestry Trust in the UK. Perhaps interested parties can join the Trust later to join and offer trips to gardens internationally. http://www.agroforestry.co.uk/Edible Forest Garden's is the name of a book by Dave Jacke that Katie posted a link to. Here the link to it again just in case others are…See More

Hey Stefanie,

Couple questions re the zukes - I'm growing 'costata romanesca' this year - check out this link for more info on it: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.harvestwizard.com/costa_romanescaRR.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.harvestwizard.com/2008/09/costata_romanesca_squash.html&usg=__mm3oxngzq0tse_HT2MSRZ8djqZA=&h=432&w=262&sz=117&hl=en&start=1&tbnid=EfCpFiE77nx2oM:&tbnh=126&tbnw=76&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dcostate%2Bromanesca%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG - ok, jeez, that link is nuts. If it doesn't work - just google (images) it. Just making sure you're cool with that variety. Also, I don't mind popping in a few starts for you - but I usually start mine from seeds. Just checking in - cause I'll start em soon...
