Join a network of similarly-minded people (of all levels of experience) who can share expertise and questions; participate in activities to educate the general public about food sustainability; contribute to the very special place that is Ithaca.
Do you have any expertise or resources that you can offer to the IthaCan community?
Have years of experience growing vegetables organically and have a large (fenced) garden now and know how certain varieties of some vegetables work well for drying or freezing; have moderate experience using a food dehydrator and reconstituting for cooking; would be willing to lead book discussions of titles like Omnivore's Dilemma (am an English professor); have a truck.
