Old Hen Processing Workshop at Krys Cail's Country Woodlot and Kitchen
November 6, 2010 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
We are going to show our methods for making old laying hens into useful products, such as soup stock, chicken soup, and chicken nuggets. This is a "from start" demonstration, using the hatchet-in-the-woodlot kill method. Please, no children or dogs attending. We will process a small number (about 4) of hens under home-kitchen conditions.
