Autumn's Harvest Farm:  A family-run natural meat and egg farm in Romulus, NY.  Founded in 2000, the farm grew out of a direct-to-consumer meat business and specialized in selling wholes, halves and quarters of large stock as well as poultry and rabbit.   Contact:  Tim Haws:  www.autumnsharvestfarm.com.

Blue Heron Farm: Specializing in season extension and storage crops, Blue Heron Farm is a very diverse 12 acre produce farm. Asparagus, strawberries and greens start the growing season, while in summer and fall there are over 40 different crops to choose from, including tomatoes of all kinds, garlic, potatoes, cabbage, and a wide variety of root vegetables. Blue Spoon Farm:  Primarily produces meat & eggs, some veggies. Accepts volunteer service in exchange for products produced. Blue Spoon is located at 520 West Groton Rd. in Groton, NY.

Fingerlakes Fruit Bowl:  The Fingerlakes Fruit Bowl is a Fruit CSA affiliated with the Full Plate Farm Collective. We work with New York State Farmers to bring a selection of fruit to our members over the local growing season (June-October) as well as a winter share (Dec-Feb) that is composed of stored and preserved fruit (cider, frozen berries, jam, etc). We are based at Stick and Stone Farm in Ithaca.

Harvest Home Organics: 
NOFA-NY Certified Organic Farm located on the east side of Owasco Lake. Specializes in Open Pollinated and Heirloom Vegetables, Herbs, Old Fashioned Cut Flowers, Heirloom Dry Beans, and Hand Crafted Jams and Jellies. Also grows Prize Winning Garlic and produces beautiful garlic braids (or seed) that can be shipped anywhere in the U.S. Info: Harvest Home Organics.

 

Ithaca Organics: A family run farm owned and operated by Trever and Monica Sherman.  Our 47 acre production farm neighbors the family organic dairy, Jerry Dell Farm.  As third generation farmers, farming is in the blood.  Our fruits and vegetables are organically grown and certified.  We are committed to providing quality, nutrient-rich foods while implementing sustainable farming practices.  Website: Ithaca Organics

Marz Farm is a diversified family farm at the southern tip of the NY Finger Lakes region. Currently harvests and sells organic hay, free range eggs, pasture pork, and organic/GAP certified vegetables. Watch for Marz Farm's CSA in 2010 and local frozen organic vegetable products. Peasant Dreams Farm
: Established in 2009 in East Hill area, Peasant Dreams Farm specializes in root crops and winter storage vegetables.  It also supports and promotes root cellaring, providing resources on how to install and maintain a root cellar. The farm will be pursuing organic status next year, currently growing organic seed without chemical fertilizers or pesticides.  Contact: Katie Quinn-Jacobs.

Rooster Hill Farm:  Raises pastured beef and pork, also seasonal poultry (fresh & frozen) and eggs.  The farm is not organic but feeds its animals with local grains and hays as much as possible and its animals are drug and hormone-free.  Rooster Hill is located in Candor and does a weekly delivery around Cornell of meat and eggs to customers who subscribe to their email list.  For more info contact:  Rooster Hill Farm.

Silver Queen Farm:  U-Pick fruits and vegetables and CSA located at 5286 Stillwell Rd, Trumansberg, NY.  Open 8-8 every day.  Contact:  607-387-6502.

Six Circles Farm: Located on the sloping east shore of Seneca Lake in Lodi, NY, Six Circles Farm is a diverse vegetable farm with 4.5 acres in production. Offers a wide variety of perennial and annual vegetables, herbs, and cut flowers with a main crop in garlic and garlic seed. New for 2010 will be vegetables, such as daikon radish, sauerkraut cabbage, and radish pods, with home fermenters in mind. Not certified organic, however, strives to grow ecologically, and does not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Stick and Stone Farm:  Stick & Stone grows 25 acres of certified organic vegetables in Ithaca, NY.
Wholesale crops (in season) include kales, chard, mustards, and other greens, tomatoes (red, heirloom, and cherry), beets, carrots, cabbage, brussels sprouts, basil, green beans, summer squash/zucchini, and winter squash. Wild Hare Farm: Certified Organic Farm near Moravia, NY. Wide range of vegetables. Focusing in 2009 on winter squash, tomatoes, sunchokes and potatoes. Will also have greens galore. Zesterhorn Enterprises:  A postage stamp farm, harkening to a time when families worked for what they consumed, and had plenty extra to share. Zesterhorn doesn't plan on being a full scale CSA or farming operation, but does hope to share its bounty. Currently, they sell free range, heritage chicken, duck and turkey eggs.  Info: Zesterhorn Enterprises.
