We eat them simply sauteed--clean & slice, get pan hot, add butter generously, cook at high temp briefly.

My veg beds sprouted both puff balls and a type of inky cap this year, and the treelawn of our rental property had agaricus. Those are just the ones I know--Other little fungi have appeared in these areas too. Seems like a great year for mushrms. Woods walkers, what are you seeing out there?
