Join us to freeze pawpaws?

Is anyone here interested in getting together to freeze pawpaw pulp?

 

Pawpaws are the largest edible fruit native to North America, and they grow here! They taste a bit like... a sweet creamy tropical fruit. Some people substitute them for bananas in recipes like banana bread. Why don't you ever see them in the stores? They're not marketable on a big scale because they ripen so fast and don't last on the shelf. (for more info, see wikipedia's pawpaw page)

 

Want to try some? I'm trying to obtain a large volume. I'm not sure how much it'll cost, but it would be helpful if I had a sense of how many people were interested and how much you want. They'll be ready some time in September. Please let me know if you're interested by commenting below. Thanks!

Cross posting . . . I would probably be interested in putting up as much as ten quart size bags.  I'm interested in buying them as part of a group if that gives us a better price.  I've bought them at the Cornell Orchard store and remember them as being more expensive than other fruit.
