pea pods
Hi everyone,
Not sure where to put this but here goes. I am looking for about a pound or 2 of pea pods (empty). I make and freeze soup bases and recently found a recipe for a light broth that calls for pea pods. As you shell your peas this year, if you wouldn't mind setting them aside for me that would be great. Can pick up in Ithaca/Mecklenburg area.

Heh. Now that you've mentioned this, everyone will be making up pea pod broth! Generally, we plant sugar snap peas and eat them pod and all in the early days. Eventually we will shell some, however. Willing to share then.
