Looks like it's too late for your feast this year, but there are farmers selling local turkeys on Harvestation.

I got a last minute idea for a goose, but couldn't find one on Harvestation. Maybe for Christmas!

Ludgates is selling ducks, but you'd have to act fast, there aren't too many.

My wife bought a turkey and I confess I don't know where its from but we will be digging up potatoes, scorzonera, parsnips and carrots from the garden. There is still plenty of kale out there, 4 varieties, so there will be plenty of that cooked with a bit of onion and soy sauce. We will be seasoning things with the herbs we grew. For dessert we will make pies with frozen fruit from our peach trees. And to go along with the turkey I still have a couple of jars of plum conserve from 2009.
Writing all that down makes me sure feel thankful!
