A while back, I hosted a book discussion group on "Radical Homemakers" by Shannon Hayes. The event was well attended and we had a good time discussing the concepts that Shannon described in her book. After the event, there was some talk on the forums about doing another book discussion night. After a few ideas, the conversation sorta ran down.
I'd like to revive the idea of a book discussion night and I volunteer to moderate it. I am interested in your suggestions for books to discuss. Proposed books should be in print or available via the Internet. It should be on a topic of interest to Ithacaners.
A couple of books have already been suggested:
What are your suggestions?
PS. I was thinking of Feb. or Mar. 2013 for the next discussion night.
Another suggestion...The Contrary Farmer's Invitation to Gardening by Gene Logsdon...or anything else by Gene Logsdon. I've read 2 of Logsdon's books and found them to be a rare treat: practical as well as inspirational.
Good suggestion, Katie. Inspirational is good. Hoping to get more suggestions.
