Wine making 2010?

I just joined and wanted to see if anyone else is gearing up for the grape harvest this year? From the vineyards I have talked to it seems like 2010 will be a great year for grapes.

So far I am planning on three batches this fall. One in the near future from a friends grape stock in his field, a second at the beginning of the commercial harvest with grapes from Seneca, and possibly a late season wine depending on how the fall goes.

Yes, we make wines most years. We should have good grapes... although, September is really the crucial month.

I'm especially interested in people posting any word they may have about free or cheap grape sources (even back-yard concords-- we make a lot of grape juice, too).

I might have free grape resource available, but would need access to a press to make use of it.

Well, we have a press, and a grape crusher and crocks to hold red grapes during a primary fermentation. If you "friend" me on IthaCan, we can send private messages back and forth about it and maybe figure out a deal...
